TASK 2- HOW BIG IS YOUR CARBON FOOTPRINT?
In this second task, you need to do three activities.
Activity 1:
Think about the rubbish your family throws out and divide it in categories. Discuss with your teammates and order the different categories depending on the amount that you produce.

We want to know your individual footprint, your "overshoot day" and the "number of planets" you need to live so, each member of the team must do the quiz and write it down. Then, discuss with your partners and work out the average carbon footprint of your group. Write all the information in the worksheet you can download in the link below. This activity is very important and you MUST KEEP YOUR RESULTS TO USE THEM IN YOUR MATHS PROJECT.

Now you know how much your life is affecting "Mother Nature", How many planets do you need to live? When is your personal "overshoot day"? What can you do to reduce your carbon footprint? Do you think that pollution is beyond your control? Not at all. Watch the video of these two sisters who made the difference in their country.
